THE PRODUCT
The Gotain velvet curtains will add a luxurious feel to any space. Customised to the exact length you need in two width options. Each curtain has a hanging strip for easy installation. Our curtains can be suspended using a pole with rings or on a wall / ceiling track using our pleat hooks. We feel that the curtains look best when supported by the floor so we recommend adding 1cm to the length. If you require curtains longer than 310cm, just drop us an email for a custom order. To create a beautiful fall to the fabric our curtains have a generous 10cm lower hem. The hem also includes pockets at the bottom for our curtain weights. The weights help the curtain fabric to fall smoother and give a more elegant overall impression. See our guide to help you select the correct curtain length here.
All of our curtains are made to order with a delivery time of 4-5 weeks.

Our fabrics are woven in Spain, a country well known for its traditional and vast experience in textile manufacturing, and hand finished by an atelier in Sweden.
Material
Our velvet curtains are made from the highest quality materials, using a polyester velvet specially developed for curtains to create a beautiful suspension and are dust repellent. The fabric is certified according to OEKO-TEX, meaning it does not contain any harmful toxins.

THE DESIGNER
Gotain is a Swedish based textile brand offering tailored quality curtains in carefully designed colour palettes and materials. Gotain’s vision is to make it easy to order customised curtains, therefore, all curtains are fitted with a multifunctional hanging strip which makes it possible to hang them with pleat hooks on a standard curtain pole as well as curtain tracks. All the fabrics are woven in Spain and tailor-made by hand in an atelier in Sweden.

CARE
To maintain colour and quality, we recommend vacuuming your curtains at regular intervals. Using a soft nozzle, pull loosely along the fabric to remove dust and dirt that would otherwise penetrate the fabric. Use a steamer to minimise creases that develop over time. When steaming velvet curtains, it is important that you steam from the back of the curtain so as not to damage its pile.
- Do not machine wash or soak your curtains—this can cause them to shrink by 2-5%. We recommend dry clean only.
- You can spot-clean small areas using warm water on a white cloth. Dab gently against the fabric and finish by steaming the curtains and letting them dry.
