THE PRODUCT
The Gotain Gotnoir roman blinds are crafted using a luxurious linen fabric. Perfect for adding some privacy without losing the natural light. The roman blinds are designed to compliment our hanging curtains, perfect for kitchens, bathrooms or a home office. Our blinds are all hand customised to the exact length and width you need. The widest width available in 200cm. These blinds are reinforced by wooden ribs, with rings at the back and a cord in natural cotton. Tracks and fittings are included for suspension. Â
The Gotnoir print takes inspiration from dark summer meadows with modern floral shapes. The sharp shapes and thorny bouquet combine natural tones with deep forest greens, rust and ochre in a dramatic floral scene

THE DESIGNER
Gotain is a Swedish based textile brand offering tailored quality curtains in carefully designed colour palettes and materials. Gotain’s vision is to make it easy to order customised curtains, therefore, all curtains are fitted with a multifunctional hanging strip which makes it possible to hang them on a standard curtain pole as well as curtain tracks. All the fabrics are woven in Spain and tailor-made by hand in an atelier in Sweden.

CARE
Linen is a natural fiber that gets softer and finer over the years. Your linen curtain’s best friend is a steamer. Our tip is that the first thing to do when hanging up your linen curtains is to steam them carefully. The curtain gets a softer and finer case with the help of the heat from the steam. To maintain colour and quality, we also recommend vacuuming your curtains at regular intervals. Use a soft nozzle and pull loosely along the fabric to remove dust and dirt that would otherwise penetrate the fabric.
- Do not machine wash or soak your blinds—this can cause them to shrink by 2-5%. We recommend dry clean only.Â
- You can spot-clean small areas using warm water on a white cloth. Dab gently against the fabric and finish by steaming the curtains and letting them dry.

ROMAN BLIND & ROLLER BLIND CHILD SAFETY
The safety of your home is always our highest priority, especially when it comes to children. We want to ensure that our roman blinds and roller blinds are both beautiful and safe to have in your home. Therefore, it’s essential to follow our safety instructions for the correct placement of cords to minimise the risk of accidents. Here you’ll find important guidelines on how high the cord should be positioned to keep your home safe for children.
Roller Blind:
1. Install your roller blind so that the beaded cord ends at least 150cm above the floor.
2. Install the included cleat, which comes pre-attached to the beaded cord. Find the correct height for the cleat by pulling the cord downward until it is fully straight. Regularly check that the mechanism functions as intended.
Roman Blind:
1. After installing your roman blind at the desired height, adjust the length of the cord. Lower the blind fully, then trim the cord so that it ends at least 150 cm above the floor. Attach the knob and tie a new knot.
2. Install the included cleat at least 150cm from the floor. Always wrap the blind’s cord around the cleat, to keep cords out of children’s reach. Regularly check that the mechanism functions as intended.
